I was listening to “Praise You in the Waiting” by David Jennings today, and I just felt like someone might need this reminder.

Maybe you’re in a season of waiting right now.

Waiting for God to answer a prayer.
Waiting for healing.
Waiting for a breakthrough.
Waiting for a door to open.
Waiting for something you’ve been praying about for what feels like forever.

And maybe you’re starting to wonder if God hears you.

He does.

Just because you can’t see Him working doesn’t mean He isn’t working. The silence doesn’t mean He has forgotten you. The waiting doesn’t mean the answer is no.

Sometimes God asks us to trust Him before we can see what He’s doing.

So keep praying. Keep believing. Keep showing up. Keep trusting His timing, even when you don’t understand it.

And while you wait, praise Him.

Praise Him for what He’s already done.
Praise Him for what He’s doing that you can’t see.
Praise Him for what’s still to come.

Your waiting season is not wasted. God is still God in the waiting.

“Be still, and know that I am God.”
Psalm 46:10
