We will be in Lockhart Texas next weekend, it is the BBQ Capital of Texas. We look forward to the challenge. This Event is always in search of people to eat delicious BBQ for Free and Judge the competition. Make a plan to come out early on Saturday to Support the Lockhart FFA Booster Club.

Dripping Springs Founders Day BBQ Cookoff was a Great Success. We didn’t finish in the Top 10 in Meats but had a spectacular time. This Cookoff was literally buzzing with energy from the 1000’s of people that came out for the weekend. We got to see old friends and meet new ones. We are excited for Next Year’s competition.

If you were planning on visiting us this weekend, the event has been rescheduled for April 1st and 2nd.

Something I forgot to say in the original message was that all of these meats are prepared in small Batches. They are seasoned, basted, Temped and cooked to perfection. A Pit Master is not going to a competition with a Plan to Lose, so you are getting the Best that He/She produce that day.
