To Our Wine Sensation Community,
Wine Sensation was created to be a place where people from all walks of life can gather, connect, and enjoy good wine, good conversation, and good company. Everyone is welcome here.
I embrace diversity, differing viewpoints, and respectful discussion. What I do not welcome is racism, sexism, intimidation, threatening behavior, personal attacks, harassment, or inflammatory conduct. There is a difference between sharing opinions and showing disrespect, and at Wine Sensation, respect is not optional.
I understand the climate of today. Emotions run high, and people see the world through different lenses. But I am many things—a woman, a Black woman, a mother, a friend, and a business owner. I both deserve and strive to give respect to every person who walks through my doors.
I want this business to grow and thrive. However, I will never sacrifice my values, my peace, or the well-being of my family, friends, staff, or patrons in pursuit of success. Wine Sensation will remain a place where people can feel safe, welcomed, and valued.
I love people. I believe in community. I believe in conversation. But I will not tolerate ignorance, abuse, bullying, or behavior that makes others feel unwelcome.
If you visit Wine Sensation, come with kindness. Come with curiosity. Come ready to enjoy yourself and respect those around you. If we can do that, there is a seat at the table for everyone.
