Hello everyone,
This is a hard one to write.
After a lot of thought, prayer, and some long conversations, we’ve made the decision to close Woodward’s BBQ permanently.
This wasn’t something that happened overnight. We’ve felt this coming since the end of last season, but we kept holding onto it—hoping we could find a way to make it all work. The reality is, things have changed for our family in ways that make it impossible to keep showing up and doing this at the level we believe in.
Woodward’s BBQ was never just about selling food to us. It was early mornings, late nights, long cooks, and a real commitment to doing things the right way—completely from scratch, every time. It was something we took a lot of pride in.
Getting to serve you over the past two summers and falls meant more to us than you probably realize. The support, the conversations, the people who showed up week after week—it didn’t go unnoticed. You helped make this more than just a small food trailer.
That’s what makes this so hard.
At the end of the day, between the demands of life, changes in our family, and the realities of running this kind of business, we just can’t make it work anymore. As much as we love it, it’s time to step away.
With that said, the trailer will be going up for sale. I’m in no rush, and I know it’s a serious setup, so I expect it may take some time. I’ll share more details on that soon.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to do this. Truly.
