The next chapter of Root 31 starts here. 🌱

For years, this community has made Root 31 what it is today. Your morning coffee runs, brunch dates, lunch meetings, and everyday visits have helped us grow into something truly special.

Now, we're excited to share what's next.

We're creating a brand new Root 31 experience just a short distance away in Pittsford Plaza—one that gives us more room to grow while staying true to everything that brought us here.

Think expanded breakfast offerings, an extended lunch and dinner menu, a full bar, covered patio, cozy gathering spaces, house-made desserts, and even more local, seasonal, flavor-first food and drinks.

And just to clear things up: our current location isn't going anywhere yet. We'll continue serving you right where we are until the doors open on our new space.

Same roots. New possibilities.

Fresh ingredients are a gift from nature — and we believe in giving back however we can 🌿♻️

At Root 31, our zero waste approach is part of the care we put into everything we do. Every team member is trained to dispose of waste in the most environmentally responsible way possible, helping us reduce what goes to landfills and recycle whenever we can. If it doesn’t decompose, it gets recycled. Simple as that.

It’s our way of showing gratitude for the fresh, local ingredients that inspire every dish we serve. 💚

A new location. Same roots. 🌱

We’re excited to officially share that Root 31 is growing into a brand new space just a short distance from where we are today — right here in Pittsford Plaza.

Our new location will be built on the back side of the Citizens Bank building, only about 400 yards from our current café.

Most importantly: we’re not going anywhere. Our current location will remain OPEN all the way through our grand opening.

This next chapter is about creating an even better Root 31 experience — with expanded breakfast, elevated lunch and dinner offerings, a full bar, covered patio, cozy atmosphere, and even more of the fresh, community-focused experience you already know and love.
