How’s school going? We might have the perfect opportunity for you to get paid while you study.

We’re looking to fill a Student Barista position with an ambitious person who could use paid study or work time on 1–3 weekday mornings between 7:30–10:30 a.m.

This is an on-site role at our drive-thru location and includes access to a private study area, with the expectation that you’re available to step in to help serve customers during busy periods. The position also includes regular weekend barista shifts.

No experience required.

We are looking for baristas in north Rochester! At Lumen Coffee we are owner-managed, and working here serves as a unique opportunity to develop confidence and skills while practicing self-motivation. Flexible hours but morning shifts are needed (starting at 6:30am). Up to 18 hours available per week. We also have a unique work-study program that allows for studying on-site while getting paid! Get paid while you study or do your own projects here at Lumen Coffee! About 3 hours each morning we have a Work Study program in which provide a desk and wifi in our loft and $10/hour while you study, read, do computer work, or whatever else keeps you busy while you are "on-call" to help the main barista with customer rushes. The typical time spent helping is only 20-40 minutes out of the entire morning.
