In 2008, I started a little business out of my home in Spartanburg, South Carolina. I sold sweet potato pies, did light catering, and prepared small meals.

Back then, my business went by the name Sweet Tee’s. It wasn’t an officially registered business name, but I used it for years.

When I finally decided to apply for my LLC in 2022, my dear cousin Ronda said something to me that I will never forget.

She said, “I like the name Sweet Tee’s and all, but when I eat your food, I can taste your heart and soul in it. I think you should change your name to Tasha’s Heart & Soul.”

And I LOVE IT! ❤️

That’s how the name Tasha’s Heart & Soul Catering came to be. A name that wasn’t just about the food I prepared, but the love I put into it. Thank you Ronda!!!

We worked hard, laughed a lot, and my husband Phillip would tell me almost every day that he was quitting because of my crazy! 😂😂 But through it all, he was always there for me and helped bring my vision to life.

My sister Nikki! The BEST sister that anyone could ask for. ❤️ She wears so many hats, keeping things moving, brings her high energy and makes sure we stay on time! No matter what she had going on she made time to help. She has even been asked to sing at some of our events.

We didn’t always have enough people, but we had each other. We worked together, figured things out, and made it happen.
