🥩 BEEF: We are choosing to avoid beef sourced from Argentina because of concerns surrounding cattle-production practices, including the use of growth-promoting hormones. We believe in being intentional about where our meat comes from and how it is produced.
🥚 EGGS: The FDA is investigating a Salmonella outbreak involving specific recalled eggs from Midwest Poultry Services. Consumers, restaurants, and retailers are advised NOT to eat, sell, or serve the recalled eggs. (U.S. Food and Drug Administration)
🥬 ICEBERG LETTUCE: The FDA is investigating a multistate Cyclospora outbreak linked to iceberg lettuce sourced from central Mexico. The investigation includes Michigan, and the FDA reports that two deaths have been reported in Michigan. (U.S. Food and Drug Administration)
