🐔💙 Happy Birthday, Jessica! 💙🐔

This cake was such a fun one to create! I absolutely love these adorable fluffy Silkie chickens with their wild feather “hair”—they have so much personality! Every detail was handcrafted with love, from the rustic farm fence to the buttercream chicken and edible image, bringing a little country charm to this birthday celebration.

🥃 A little Kentucky inspiration…

I had the opportunity to visit the beautiful Origin Hotel in Lexington, and I couldn’t resist taking a photo of this incredible bourbon-themed cake display. Kentucky has such a rich bourbon heritage, and it’s inspiring to see how local flavors and traditions can be turned into edible art.

As a cake artist, I’m always looking for new ideas, and this display definitely caught my eye. The wood grain, barrel details, realistic ice, and iconic bourbon bottles all come together to create a stunning centerpiece.

It’s exciting to call Kentucky home now, and I can’t wait to continue creating custom cakes inspired by everything this amazing state has to offer.

To my valued customers,

I recently became aware of a statement circulating online suggesting that Sugar and Lace Bakery accepted payment from customers without fulfilling their cake orders.

I want to state clearly that this did not happen.

Throughout the eight years that Sugar and Lace Bakery served the Phoenix community, I worked tirelessly to fulfill every order. Even as I prepared to relocate I continued baking and completing customer orders right up until my doors closed. I have never knowingly accepted payment for an order that I did not provide.

If anyone believes they have a legitimate unresolved issue with a past order, I sincerely encourage them to contact me directly with their name, order information, and proof of purchase so I can review it. To date, no such evidence has been presented to me.

My reputation has always meant everything to me. Thank you to the thousands of customers who trusted me with your weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers, and life’s special moments over the years. Your support, kind reviews, and referrals are what allowed Sugar and Lace Bakery to grow into an award-winning business.

I am grateful for every one of you and look forward to this new chapter.
