Let’s give the Jarman’s a proper welcome!
Hi, Neighbors! We are the Jarman Family, the owners of New Tech Recreational Carts in Richland Center. I wanted to make a post to introduce ourselves, as we have been kind of grinding to get this place up and running and I haven't taken the opportunity yet.
Amanda and I moved to Richland Center in January of 2025 with our 4 children from Oxford, WI, where I still run a construction business. We had always wanted to live here, so this is the fulfillment of a dream for us. And, as we are entrepreneurs at heart, we have talked since our arrival about what sort of business we may be able to start here locally that would:
-Be fun
-Make an impact
-Benefit Richland Center
We ended up having one of these street-legal carts brought to us by the founder of New Tech, who is Amanda's father, and we loved the experience. We were able to cruise into town in open air, take the kids to soccer practice, grab some coffee and enjoy our time as a family, bop around town, etc. We started to envision what it might be like if other people had the opportunity to do the same, and that vision is pretty exciting for us today.
So, I wanted to make this post to introduce ourselves, and let the community know that we will be opening our doors this following week for regular hours at the Richland Center strip mall. Our showroom is located directly next door to Mr. G's.
We are also planning a grand opening party with some catered food, a little retro arcade action (Pac-Man, Ridge Racer, Time Crisis), music and games for later in the month, so I'll be sure to get that flyer posted in this group when we get a little closer.
For now, thank you from all of us for the warm welcome we've received since we arrived! This town has been everything we hoped it would be and much more.
