Little Chicken Coop on the Prairie Building chicken coops to protect your poultry from all predators. We love our chickens. My passion for chickens is what got me started building chicken coops.

After losing half my flock to several of the neighborhood dogs, I decided that I wanted something strong enough to protect them from all the predators around us. I also wanted something that would shelter them from this Texas heat and provide plenty of ventilation.
