Regrow veggies and herbs

Happy Earth Day everyone! In addition to being a carbon-neutral company, EAT Club is passionate about minimizing food waste both in our business as well as our own homes. In honor of #EarthDay, we wanted to share a kitchen hack with produce that limits food waste and consumption. You can regrow (aka propagate) many veggies and herbs from leftover cuttings.

With many adjusting to the challenges of working from home, we recognize the importance of creating a set schedule for a daily routine. We have experienced improvements in productivity and overall wellness by implementing time in the day designated for work, self-care, family, friends and checking in with teammates as we temporarily work from home.

Here is our WFH #schedule sample template, a daily routine that can be applied and modified to fit your own schedule. Let us know in the comments of any additional tips that make #wfhlife easier!

We’re back with one last cup noodle hack! We used a @lotusfoods Masala Curry cup for this delicious twist on ramen. Give it a try for a delicious dinner, lunch, or snack by adding your leftover veggies and herbs - and of course some @huyfongfoods @huyfongfoods chili garlic sauce. Go all out or use leftovers from your fridge! Tag us in your creations. #cupofnoodles #kitchenhacks #eatwellbewell #shelterinplace

We’re getting creative with @lotusfoods red miso ramen cups! For a quick, easy, and satisfying meal, we’re adding our leftover veggies and herbs, together with some @huyfongfoods chili garlic sauce, to these super easy-to-make spices up noodle cups. Use what we did or whatever’s hanging out in your fridge - there’s no right or wrong way to do it! If you’re like us, you love to cook and you’ve got a lot of leftovers, this is a great way to cut down on waste. Or maybe you’re someone who hates to cook, and this is good for that too 🙂 #quarantinelife #shelterinplace #cupofnoodles #kitchenhacks

Some good news. Our neighborhood health clinic is still serving Mission Promise Neighborhood families during the #COVID19 crisis. The clinic was running low on protective gloves for its frontline health care workers, and local business EAT Club came through for us with a donation of 10 boxes of PPE gloves. Thanks to EAT Club, and to Jenny Lam - Commissioner, Board of Education for seeing the need and making the connection!

Our #PromiseNeighborhood serves low-income families at nine public schools and 14 early learning sites, in partnership with 15 community agencies and the City of San Francisco. We know that no single organization can meet the community's needs on its own during these times. We are proud to have Mission Neighborhood Health Center and its brave health care workers as a trusted partner agency.

Leni Kaumalasari came to the US from Indonesia in 1996. When she noticed a lack of Asian grocery stores in West LA, she decided to start her own. Her customers began requesting hot Indonesian food which led her to opening a cafe: Simpang Asia. The rest, as they say, is history. Simpang Asia is open for takeout at simpangasia.com. #femaleentrepreneur #femalerestauranteur #smallbusiness #localbusiness #restaurant #takeout

The Case for Creating an Emotional Company Culture

"On the surface, the idea of making sure employees feel loved at work may sound a little off. As researchers Sigal Barsade and Olivia A. O’Neill noted, 'the more love co-workers feel at work, the more engaged they are.' They make the distinction that we’re talking about “companionate love” here, which is rooted in compassion." http://bit.ly/33MIG6m

Hi all! We have all be in quarantine for few weeks already with more to go. Couples of friends and I wanted a way to feel more normalcy and connection and talk to others about their experience. Maybe even make new friends. That's why we created a group on facebook called "eating alone together" so we can all meet up virtually from all over the world. So far our virtual dinner has been helping everyone, feel less alone. We would love for you to join us and it would be great to meet you. Join our group Eating alone, virtually! These meetups have been so stimulating and given all of us a smile. Hope to see you soon. Please join ( eating Alone, together, https://www.facebook.com/groups/214146959660655/ )
are you guys having site issues? can't place order... was getting 503 for a while....
Do not order the Pepperoni and Sausage Calzone. They delivered it in a crushed box, the sauce ramekin opened in the box and dumped out, and the corner of the box was wet on the outside from the sauce seeping through. I showed the delivery guy, he called his boss, and they said they would get another one out to me right away. An hour and a half later they deliver another one. Low and behold, the sauce ramekin had opened in the box and the sauce was dumped out again. I was in the restroom when they delivered the replacement, so it was just sitting on my desk when I got back and the delivery person was gone. I called Eat Club support and the best they could do was refund my company the cost of the meal and give my company some credits. That did absolutely nothing for me. You would think they would have checked the second delivery for dumped sauce. You would think they would have gotten the replacement faster than an hour and a half.
you are serving raw chicken
Do you know if The Urban Rabbit has a website? I can't find anything about them online. Thanks.
Please bring the vegan sushi options back!!!
I positively loathe the cart timer on your website. Enough of discreet private messages about it ... let's put this out there and see what the people think (and write). I've had multiple experiences browsing over all the nice choices Eat Club offers ... and then having all my choices thrown out because some web programmer decided that I'm taking too long to choose the week's lunches offered by my employer. Last thing I need is stress choosing quickly on top of the usual stress. I did try to handle this with private messaging but no one has ever responded ... oy., Anyone else?
Hi, what is the difference between "Frisk Salad Artistry" and Urban Rabbit? It seems like they are not real restaurants in SF, so we are wondering if the food comes from the same source. The reason I am asking is because my co-worker found worms in his "Frisk Salad Artistry" Salad this morning.
Hey EAT Club, your site won't let me order anything, error 400: "Item not on the menu for this location" (all dishes in the menu throw the same error). Help!
Dear EAT Club - We're all set with plastic ware. 81 sets for a 6 person office. We love the service and the eats. Biobased is not equal too compostable. Is there a way we can recommend that the utensils are not needed? Thanks!
Jim Pariso at Apttus lunch was not delivered with the other orders. There does not seem to be any type of recourse on your web page. The jist of it is you owe me lunch and I would like it delivered today, Friday 7/21.
Lunch was tragic....nothing close to the picture.
