At just a young age, California Surf Club Jr. Member Blake Vogelsang has already cemented his place in Hermosa Beach history, defending his title and winning the legendary Hermosa Beach Ironman for the second year in a row. The Fourth of July tradition challenges athletes to run, paddle, and—true to Hermosa tradition—finish with six beers before crossing the line. Blake once again proved he’s built for it, earning consecutive victories in one of the South Bay’s most iconic events. (Easy Reader & Peninsula)
