Hey you all! I wanted to announce my latest coffee with you. It just released today! "Decadent Decafé" is my Roaster's choice rotating single origin decaf option. I celebrate decaf coffee as an alternative to alcohol in this imaginary coffee "taproom".
This current batch on "tap" is a medium roast from Colombia via the Sugarcane decaf process. The taste has notes of fig and spiced apple. A very pleasant drink to sip on, day or night. Now available at Dancing Moon Books and Gifts! Also in person or my website ;)

I enjoyed a personal roast today in our winter wonderland. This is the Kenya Muranga AA. A nice light roast. Explosive lime and lemon flavors are cut by warm salted peanut and pecan notes on this dynamic brew. A truly memorable winter day.

I have an awesome announcement to share with you guys. I am officially selling Fresh Motivations Coffee at a local Raleigh gift store! I have partnered with Dancing Moon Books & Gifts, and they agreed to become the first place where my coffee is available in store. This is a great milestone for me, and the people at Dancing Moon were excited to come alongside me to add my selection of specialty coffees to their shelves. Good morning everyone! My neighborhood, Hedingham is having a yard sale this Saturday so during the event I'm hosting a "Coffee yard sale" at my house featuring my lineup of home roasted coffees from Fresh Motivations Coffee Roasting Co.!

I'm excited to display my most recent coffee release, which many of you have tried but I had not announced it and finalized artwork for it until now. This is the "BLAZING BURUNDI" coffee. This is my "Fruit Bomb" Rotational coffee and offers the wildest flavors in my lineup. "Blazing Burundi" celebrates SPONTANEITY as a virtue in both the uniqueness of its flavor and the limited and almost volatile nature of its availability. I know one place where I can source this specific bean from and HOPE that I can find continual enough sources to supply it yearly. Burundi is a small country in East Africa that many (or dareisay, all) of you have never heard of, that specializes in microlot coffee farms. I didn't know of it until I had some in a sampler pack when I first started with my coffee project. This medium roast conveys a honey like sweetness, with fruity dynamics of cranberry, peach, and lime. It is difficult to be very specific in pinpointing the specific flavors of this coffee, but I assure you of one thing that this coffee will BURST your understanding of the flavor and aroma range of coffee. Hello all. It's been a while since I've been back with promoting my coffees but here I am at it again. My third coffee product is called "Ethiopictetus" (Ē•TH•Ē•Ō•PIC•TĒ•TUS). It is an Ethiopian origin coffee dedicated to the Stoic Philosopher, Epictetus. This is the featured dark roast in my lineup and is the current bestseller. 🎉 The tasting profile carries flavors of bittersweet dark chocolate blended with fruity aspects of plum, mango, and red grape.

Epictetus taught on mental resilience, self-discipline, and virtue. He was well qualified to teach on these subjects, being a slave for most of his life. After his emancipation, he taught Stoicism in Rome and Nicopolis for nearly 25 years. I truly love the quote I selected for this artwork: "You cannot hope to make progress in areas what you have taken no action." Life cannot be lived by intent alone. This is the perfect reminder for me in the morning to be the DOER.

Good morning everyone. I wanted to introduce to you all my second coffee product in my lineup. "Son La Serenity" is my Medium Roast offering sourced from Son La, Vietnam. This coffee presents a flavor profile that is reminiscent of allspice and bright garden herbs such as parsley and cilantro, with a finish that reminds me of freshly ground peppercorn. Its dynamic herbal and spice profile is backed by a mild sweetness that makes for a smooth sessionable cup. I crafted "Son La Serenity" coffee to commemorate Thich Nhat Hanh, the Vietnamese Buddhist Monk who brought meditation and mindfulness practices to the west. Hanh was also a nonviolence activist who worked alongside and became close friends with Martin Luther King Jr. It is my hope that this roast will serve as a physical reminder to find peace and benevolent community in times of tumult and conflict in its many forms and fashions.
