ALS, also known as lou gehrig’s disease, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that impacts nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. it can affect a person’s ability to walk, talk, eat, and eventually breathe.

matt’s place foundation was created to support people living with ALS and their families by providing hope, housing, resources, and assistance throughout idaho, washington, and montana. their goal is to help families maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life through the incredibly difficult challenges ALS brings.
