Come create, sing, or just enjoy some food and a drink!

Tomorrow is also the LAST day to get us an extra $10 from givebutter when you sign up as a monthly donor for $5 or more! We are half way through our week of extra Givebutter donations for new monthly donors, and are not getting much movement!

If 1/2 of our followers donated JUST $5 A MONTH today, we would get almost $5000 from givebutter and literally NEVER need to do another donation ask.

If you can swing $5 a month, you can know that it is making A DIRECT DIFFERENCE for your community!

for an awesome show! Fun to meet so many cool new folks AND shift genres up a bit! We had a blast!

Sales are UP every single week, HOWEVER we still need some community support to get us through! This wee our donation platform is giving us $10 for every person who signs up as a monthly donor for just $5 or more! This is the week to make your money count a little more!!

Join us for Mother’s Day Brunch this Sunday!

We will be CLOSED for brunch on Saturday 5/9 to do our first market day of the year! We will be doing a food demo and chatting with folks until the market closes. Makin’ Groceries will open at 5pm for a special show from 7-11pm!

We will be back for a special Sunday brunch! Come celebrate the moms or mom figures that are important in your life! We welcome all on a day that is hard for many… come treat yourself and/or a special someone! Family looks different to everyone-but this is a great space to celebrate your loved ones-no matter what your family is to you!

We will have great food specials, flavored mimosas, toys, games, and an art table-for the kids OR the adults, our food menu is pay-what-you-can as usual! No matter your budget you can treat yourself and loved ones! And know that every dollar you do spend provides free and low cost meals for your neighbors.

We just found out that we will have a very special guest at this week’s open mic!!

will be joining us straight from New York City to finish off our evening with his solo set of protest songs-fit for the times!

You might know Thomas as Fox in The Warriors, Windows in John Carpenter’s The Thing, four seasons of Oz, acting alongside Al Pacino or Joan Jett, or from his band !

He is only here for the one night, and this is your chance to perform alongside a seasoned (and famous) performer! Sign ups are at 6pm, you will want to show up early for this one!

If you are not a performer-this is a great night to come check us out, meet a great actor and songwriter, have some food and drink- all while DIRECTLY supporting free and low cost meals and events for your neighbors!

May Day is here again! What are you doing this year to make the world what you want it to be?

If you are looking for a place to support, a place to build, a place to come as you are…. Look no further!

Join us post protest, join us if you are unable to protest, join us in making sure our neighbors have equitable access to food, art, music, and community.

We are still needing to raise about $1600 between now and Monday for our rent…. And today is a great day to show up!!

Swing by, have some food, have a drink! Knowing that every dollar provides free and low cost meals for your neighbors.

Tonight! A May Day Eve karaoke and crafts event.

We will be doing protest themed karaoke-and the “best” protest song of the night will get a gift card for Makin’ Groceries that can be used for events, beverages, and food.

We will also have our favorite crafter making protest signs with people! We have the supplies-just bring your vision (and a donation if you are able- it’s always pay what you can).

May Day is a historical day of protest for labor movements, (Im)migrants rights movements, and civil rights movements. If you are headed to a protest tomorrow, are just curious about the history of the day, and/or are looking for community and conversation, this is the place to be!

We are still in the final countdown to pay rent-it’s a great day to support!
