After many meaningful years, we’ve made the difficult decision to close Alpenrausch at the end of May.
This space has lived many lives with us — from OP Wurst, to the much-loved COVID relief patio of Olympia Provisions Public House, and finally Alpenrausch, named one of the Best New Restaurants in America, with our beloved Alpenhütte just beside it.
Through each of these iterations, we built toward something we are incredibly proud of. Alpenrausch and Alpenhütte represent the fullest expression of what we hoped this space could become, and we only wish we could carry it forward into the future.
To our team, past and present: thank you for the care, creativity, and heart you brought to this place every single day. You are what made it special. To our current team who is still here with us - we will miss you immensely and could not find a way to express our gratitude for who you are and how much you’ve done for us. You are the reason we will miss this most.
To our community: thank you for showing up for us — through every version of this space — and for making it feel alive.
It’s been a wild and wonderful ride, and we could not be more proud of what we built. We are truly sad to say goodbye.
We’re not quite done yet. Join us for these final weeks as we cook, pour, and gather the way we always have. Come have a last schnitzel, a glass of wine, a toast with us. Let’s send this place off the right way.
