I ALWAYS tell my cookie class decorators that the best way to improve in cookie decorating is to practice and practice and practice some more. You’re NOT going to have the most stunning cookies on your first try…or your 5th, or your 50th! The best way to improve is trial and error through lots and lots of decorating, making mistakes, and problem solving.

My first paid orders from 5 years ago are proof that it takes time and patience to grow and improve! I’m SOOOOO grateful for the customers that entrusted me with cookie orders in the beginning. Without those first orders, I wouldn’t have invested the time, energy, and money into this home-based bakery business I’ve grown today.
