On Thursday, July 30th/31st, two Black femmes in our community were assaulted and detained by Pittsburgh Police while leaving a bar. As a result of this state-sanctioned violence they have sustained mild concussions, visible bruising, and a sprained wrist. This has forced both of them to take time off of work. They are also facing misdemeanor criminal charges and are seeking representation before their first hearing in about 10 days. This crowdfund is to support recovery, care, and existing financial obligations that are at risk due to missing work. They will have a legal fund opening soon.

FALL IN LOVE WITH COMMUNITY THIS VALENTINES DAY!Meet us & at the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh Downtown in the Large Meeting Room. Saturday, February 14th at 1:30pm! We will assemble comfort kits and then distribute them to our neighbors in need! The kits will include: wool socks, gloves, mini Vaseline's, candy, chapstick, bus cards, electrolyte packets, cash, hand warmers, & more!
