Philadelphia's Traveling Community Beer Garden Parks on Tap is Philadelphia’s traveling beer garden that gives back!

A partnership between Philadelphia Parks & Recreation and FCM Hospitality, Parks on Tap brings a beer garden to different parks throughout the city all summer long. Each festive outdoor location offers fresh food, beers on tap, and much more. A portion of all proceeds are donated to help restore and maintain Philly’s parks.

Finally some good weather! ☀️ Join us at Parks on Tap today as we head to the Shofuso Japanese House and Garden until Sunday. This is a very unique and fun location, and we’re extra excited to be partnering with this week as they celebrate Tanabata, the Japanese Star Festival! 🎋✨

Tanabata is the annual Star Festival celebrated across Japan on July 7, marking the one day each year when celestial lovers Orihime and Hikoboshi are reunited. To celebrate, Shofuso is filled with colorful decorations and bamboo trees where you can write your own wishes and tie them to the branches.

Even better? Parks on Tap attendees get FREE admission to Shofuso during extended hours this Friday and Saturday from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM! If you visit during their regular operating hours, just show your valid Parks on Tap wristband to get discounted entry for just $5.00. The Hibiscus Lemonade is officially on deck at Parks on Tap! Made with Hidden Still Vodka, hibiscus, and fresh lemonade, this tart and refreshing cocktail does good all month long. Throughout June, $1 from every cocktail sold goes directly to the Delaware Valley Legacy Fund to support our local LGBTQ+ community.
