My brother came to Philly from Chicago, so you already know we had to get him a cheesesteak. 🥖

This spot didn’t quite crack my Top 5, but definitely give it a try if you’re in the area.

Have you been here? What would you rate it? 👇

SupportThePlug.com We just start our first week of the Blueprint Social Development Institute. This is a paid workforce development program that prepares students for life after high school through financial literacy, professional development, crisis mediation, and hands-on trade skills.

This week, we kicked off our Culinary Track, where students were introduced to food safety, Ready-to-Eat foods, contamination prevention, knife skills, and the fundamentals of plating using color, texture, and shape. They wrapped up the day by creating their own chicken and smoked sausage charcuterie boards while putting those skills into practice.

This is just Week 1, and we’re excited to watch these students continue to grow in confidence, earn industry-recognized certifications, and develop real workforce skills over the next several weeks.

If you’d like to support programs like this or help create more opportunities for Philadelphia youth, visit SupportThePlug.com.
