We’re all back home after a long weekend up north at the Twin Valley Fire & Smoke BBQ Competition — a double event! And you already know how much we love doubles! HAHA Pete and the Twin Valley Fire Department crew put on a top-notch contest year after year. This one felt like a tale of two days. Day 1 was… fine. Not the placement because they were ok, but the scores threw us off a bit. We shook it off, reset, and came back swinging on Day 2 with a Reserve Grand Champion finish.
Taking a little R&R before the next one.
Next stop: Buckhannon, West Virginia for Almost Heaven on June 19–20 — first time there and fired up to go. You know the motto this year: LET’S KEEP THIS ROLLING!
And hey… that’s a month away. We could possibly squeeze in one (or two) more before then. LOL

Keeping it Rolling!!

The 700 Club was standing room only this weekend, including BBQ Symphony from Twin Smoke in Lithuania.

Scuffletown Smokers led the way with a massive 714.8572, followed closely by McAdoo Heights BBQ at 712.5600.

Outstanding barbeque recognized by KCBS Certified Barbeque Judges trained to KCBS standards.

Finally had a chance to catch our breath after a long weekend and an even longer drive — but we’re fired up after our trip to the Grand American BBQ World Championship. Rolling into New Paltz, NY, we knew we were stepping into a stacked field of incredible BBQ teams. This double event brought the heat: the Invitational for past GC winners on Saturday and the Open on Sunday. It was our first time cooking this contest, and Jeremy and his crew absolutely crushed it. Smooth event, great atmosphere, and those trophies… unreal. We’re proud of how both days shook out and even more excited to keep this momentum rolling.
Next stop: Morgantown, PA for the Twin Valley Fire & Smoke BBQ Competition.

We kept the momentum rolling into our 2026 season at the Revolutionary Brawl in Williamsburg, VA. It was our first time competing here, and Dave Ham Squad BBQ and his team put on an outstanding event. We came in focused and ready to do our thing — and the cook reflected that. The judges agreed, and we’re proud of how the day turned out. And that musket trophy? One of the coolest awards we’ve ever brought home. Next stop: New Paltz, NY for the Grand American BBQ World Championship

A weekend to remember! As we continue rolling into our 2026 season at BBQ Gives Back KCBS Contest in Urbana, VA, I’m feeling both excited and humbled by the outcome. There aren’t many weekends where everything comes together the way it did for us. It’s hard to put into words what this one meant. Getting the chance to compete alongside some of the best in BBQ is always an honor. This weekend, B’s Que rose to the occasion and did what we know how to do. A huge thank‑you to Mary, Bill, and every volunteer who put their time and heart into making this competition what it was. We appreciate you more than you know.

We officially opened our 2026 competition season with a trip down to Iron Station, NC for the King of the Farm at Mission Farms. This was our first time at this event, and the organizers absolutely delivered. We had a great time and will definitely be back next year. Aside from a rainy, cloudy Friday, Saturday turned into a beautiful day and a perfect way to shake off the winter rust. Our goals for the weekend were simple: get back into the rhythm and earn at least one call. Mission accomplished on both fronts!! We’ve got a few weeks off before heading to Urbana, VA for the BBQ Gives Back KCBS Contest. B’s Que is officially rolling into 2026.
