Out of respect for a man who meant so much to so many, Murphy's Tavern will be CLOSED all day Saturday, June 6, 2026, so our staff can attend the celebration of life for our dear friend, Ricky.
Ricky was the kind of person who could make anyone smile. He was a devoted father, a loyal friend, and one of the most genuine, kind-hearted people you could ever meet. Whether you knew him for years or only crossed paths with him a few times, he had a way of making you feel welcome, valued, and appreciated.
His laughter was contagious, his sense of humor unforgettable, and his heart was bigger than life itself. Ricky was loved and respected by so many throughout our community, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
We extend our love, prayers, and deepest condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time.
A Celebration of Ricky's Life will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Powell Memorial Park (Eagles Park), 3300 N. Sherman Road, Ludington, MI.
Thank you for your understanding as we take this time to honor and remember one of our favorites. Rest easy, Ricky. You will never be forgotten.
