When my son became old enough to start eating purees I realized that I wouldn't eat jarred baby food so why should he? As an adult, I wouldn't eat every meal from a can so I shouldn't expect my child to either. Jarred baby food can be sitting on a shelf for over a year. It doesn't look or taste fresh; I have no idea where the food came from or where it was produced; water and thickening agents are

often added. I made the commitment to make my own baby food from produce that I hand selected. While this is great for me, some parents simply don't have the time to spend 1-2 hours a week in the kitchen preparing baby food. That time could be better spent bonding with your child. This dilemma is the inspiration behind Little Sprouts Food Company. Fresh, convenient baby food delivered to busy parents around central Indiana.
