We spent the day picking apples and getting everything ready for Clear the Shelters tomorrow. Safe to say, the fritter situation is looking very promising 👀

Come see us from 12–5 PM, meet adoptable animals from Giles County Animal Shelter, pick some apples, and spend the afternoon with us at the orchard ❤️

Admission is FREE and no tickets are required. Cash or Venmo for food and drinks.

This Saturday, August 29, we’re taking over The Packing House at Doe Creek Farm for Clear the Shelters and the start of apple season!!!!!!!!

Stop by from 12–5 PM for adoptable animals, apple picking, fresh fritters, a hot dog stand, iced coffee, craft cocktails, Virginia wine, and one really good excuse to spend the afternoon at the orchard.

Admission is free and no tickets are required!!!!! Every purchase helps support Giles County Animal Shelter and the animals in their care.

One big community day🍎🐾🌊

Start the morning with Fall Into the New and help clean up the New River, then head over to Doe Creek Farm for Clear the Shelters at the Orchard from 12–5 PM.

If you volunteered with Fall Into the New, wear your volunteer T-shirt to Doe Creek Farm and we’ll have free apple fritters waiting for you 👕🍎

It’s also opening weekend at the orchard, so you can pick some apples, meet adoptable animals from Giles County Animal Shelter, and hang out with us for the afternoon. We’ll also have hot dogs, craft cocktails, Virginia wine, and iced coffee available.

No tickets. Admission is FREE!!!!!! Just a really good excuse to make a whole day out of it ❤️

You already know we weren’t going to show up to the orchard empty-handed🍹🍎

We’ll be serving craft cocktails and iced coffee throughout Clear the Shelters, plus fresh fritters and a hot dog stand if you come hungry.

Our favorite award-winning winery, Altillo Vineyards, will also be here with wine by the glass and bottle, as well as their ever popular Eve’s Apple Spritzer.

We’re bringing Clear the Shelters back to the orchard on Saturday, August 29 from 12–5 PM with adoptable animals from Giles County Animal Shelter, apple picking, fresh fritters, a hot dog stand, iced coffee, craft cocktails, and Virginia wine.
