On June 9th, a historic flash flood devastated our small town and caused significant damages to the Lanesville Youth League baseball and softball complex. These fields have served as a safe, friendly haven for thousands of young athletes aged 3 to 14 over the past 30+ years. They are where our local children learn crucial life lessons about teamwork, mentorship, and sportsmanship. While our resilient community has already started clearing the debris, we have a long, expensive road ahead to build it back. We cannot do this alone. Every dollar raised goes directly toward repairing the community complex, replacing damaged equipment, and getting our kids back on the diamond.

Good luck to our 13U, 11U and 10U teams this week as we compete in the Little League District tournaments around the area.

NHYB 13U vs HYR, tonight and tomorrow at 630 at HYR Park. (Best 2 out of 3 series)

NHYB 11U vs Silver Creek, Thursday night at 530, Jeff Parks and Rec. Continues next week.

Good morning and Happy Friday.
The NHYB 9U All Stars came up just short last night against a talented Jeff team, 4-1, in the organizations first Little League district game. They now play Monday night in an elimination game. Here are some shots from last night’s action. Good luck boys!

Also good luck to all of the all star teams heading to the annual Crawford County Invitational this weekend. Let’s bring home some more hardware.

Happy Hardware Monday!!

I wanted to update the league on the fantastic weekend our All-Star teams had in Henryville. Our teams brought home two championships (10U and 8U) and a runner-up finish in the 12U division. Additionally, the 9U team competed hard while playing up in the 10U division.

The 10U team had several exciting finishes, including a walk-off home run to beat Corydon before defeating a talented Henryville team for the title. The 8U team staged a comeback victory against New Washington in the semifinals and went on to beat a tough Salem squad in the championship game. In the 12U division, our team fought hard but ultimately fell short against Henryville in the title game.

Overall, it was a very competitive weekend for our league and served as great preparation for the upcoming Little League Districts.

Good morning,
The Major and Minor Championship games did not disappoint as we had a pair of close games last night.

The Giants beat the Rays 12-11 to claim the Major title and the Angels topped the Reds 13-10 to win the Minor. Congrats to all teams on fantastic finales and great seasons.

Thank to everyone again for making our inaugural Little League season a success. We truly appreciate your patience and flexibility as we adapted to the new rules, schedules, and changes that came with our new affiliation.

Good morning,
We had a great finish to the Rookie league last night, as the Mariners prevailed over the Red Sox to win the title. Congrats to the winners and runners up on a fantastic, highly-competitive season.

Tonight we have a pair of championship games slated for 6PM starts.

Major Division Championship
#1 Rays (Home) vs #2 Giants (Away), 6PM, MINTER FIELD

Minor Division Championship
#1 Angels (Home) vs #3 Reds (Away), 6PM, BYRNE FIELD
