Hello Coffee Creek neighbors and especially members of the Military and our veterans!
We would like to take time out of our busy day to honor those of our neighbors that are currently serving or have served in the military! We plan to do that by walking in the 2nd annual Owasso Veteran's Day Parade on Saturday, November 9th. The parade will begin at 9am and will go through the Smith Farm Marketplace. YOU are invited to walk in the parade with Coffee Creek!! So whether you have a family member that has served or is currently serving or you just want to show your pride, join us!
We will meet in the parking area outside of Petsmart at 8:30am that morning. Feel free to bring your bike, trike or scooter and decorate it up kiddos! (Just like we do for the 4th of July parade!). And wear your patriotic gear and your Coffee Creek shirt if you have one.
See you there!
Kay - Coffee Creek HOA President
Hello Neighbors...First of all I just have to say what a BEAUTIFUL job everyone has done decorating for the fall! Just lovely!!! I wanted to remind everyone that Halloween is quickly approaching and that means a lot more traffic through our neighborhood. This means cars parked along our streets and kiddos darting out into the road from between parked cars. PLEASE BE AWARE!
SPEED HUMP UPDATE!!
THE SPEED HUMP SURVEY was IN THE COMPLETION PHASE, HOWEVER, THE CITY HAS DECIDED TO CONDUCT ANOTHER WEEK OF STUDY. THIS WILL DETERMINE IF OUR NEIGHBORHOOD WARRANTS SPEED HUMPS. WHEN MORE INFORMATION COMES FROM THE CITY IT WILL BE SHARED HERE AND ON OUR NEXTDOOR PAGE!
WATCH FOR RUNNERS!
This Saturday, October 12th the 3rd annual Hance Henrie Memorial Run will be coming through Coffee Creek. Please watch for runners between the hours of 8am and 11:30am that day. Thank you for your patience as we support our community neighbors for this event.
We will be providing a WATER STATION for the runners that morning at the corner of 103rd Street and 145th Street. If you would like a chance to be a part of the run by serving in this way, join us at 8:30am that morning! And thank you in advance. We NEED HELPERS!
Hello Neighbors....It is October! Welcome Fall! And it is also time for the Hance Henrie Memorial Run that the FUMC puts on each year. We are once again partnering with the church as the run route comes through Coffee Creek. We will be hosting a water station like we did last year, and we are in need of volunteers from 8-11am on Saturday, October 12th. We are proud to be able to support our community and remember Hance alongside FUMC and the run's participants. Please just rsvp below so I know how many volunteers I can count on. Thanks neighbors!

Hello Coffee CreekERS....Just wanted to give everyone a heads up, especially those who back onto one of our ponds, that we have a trapper out this week. He is a HUMANE trapper specialist who will trap our pesky critters and relocate them to less inhabited lakes in the area. We have specifically had issues with turtles and muskrats so he will focus on these critters this week. Just wanted you to know in case you see a strange fellow in camo and boots around the ponds this week!
It is almost that time again friends....Our Coffee Creek Annual 4th of July Parade is almost here. Remember kids, decorate those bikes/trikes/scooters and come on out for the parade! Everyone is welcome to join in or simply sit along the parade route to cheer on the participants. The parade will begin at the concrete pad site across from Watercolours at 4:00pm on July 4th. We will parade all the way down 103rd Street to the pool! The fire department will join us to lead our parade and then let the kids play in the spray while we all enjoy popsicles at the end of the parade. Come out to make this annual event even bigger and better this year!!

Strong Neighborhoods Initiative Renewal on City Counsel Agenda for March 5, 2013
The Owasso City Counsel will consider whether or not to renew the Owasso Strong Neighborhoods Initiative (OSNI).
View details for the March 5, 2013, meeting. Please arrive on time (6:30pm) to show your support for the program. The meeting should last approximately one hour. You do not need to speak, stand up, or even raise your hand. Simply showing up will show your support for the program’s renewal.
The OSNI program has provided Coffee Creek with dozens of valuable interactions and events with the City, has proven to be a very resourceful program, and Jerry Fowler has shown his great passion for bringing the neighborhoods together and facilitating and encouraging their betterment.
The program is funded by the hotel tax so it is not an additional tax/cost to Owasso residents. The program was created with a “sunset date”, and the City Counsel is deciding whether or not to extend the program.
Please attend the March 5 meeting at 6:30pm to show your support for the OSNI program.
See you there!

A message to the "Owasso Grinch"
You may think it's fun to prance through our neighborhoods at night,
Unplugging our Christmas lights and giving folks a fright!
But hear us when we say...Oh Owasso Grinch,
That it will take more than candy cane and Christmas tree stealing to make us flinch!
So next time you feel the need to nab it or grab it,
Keep in mind oh silly Grinch....
You simply won't steal our CHRISTMAS SPIRIT!
MERRY CHRISTMAS ONE AND ALL!!
We have had several reports of vandalism and theft in our neighborhood the past few evenings. Please report ANY suspicious activity!
