Back with another update! ‼️

I've offically made the switch from "Sherry's" to "Brittney's" on this page! It's a bittersweet feeling offically saying goodbye to what connected us to all of you but we are so excited to get the gang back together! 🩷

We've still got a few finishing touches and things to be delivered before we can schedule inspections but WE ARE THIS CLOSE 🤏 to setting an opening day! 🎉 The picture is a rendering of what it will look like after signage approval! 🤩

In the mean time...

Please stop by our court yard from 11-2pm during the parade this Sunday! We will be serving food, drinks and popsicles! 😋

We cant wait see your friendly faces and catch up! It's been too long.💛

It's been a while since we posted an update and I apologize for that! As you can imagine, we've been pretty busy! We have been working hard to get open as quickly as we possibly can. You know what they say... "good things come to those who wait!" 😉

I wanted to share the logo now that it's finished! I'd like to thank Elizabeth Schultz Flynn for not only doing a beautiful job but for her time. Most if all.. I'd like to thank her for her patience.🤣

In the coming week we have A LOT going on! Installations, furniture delivery and vinyl work for signage. Things are really starting to come together! It almost looks like a restaurant in there! 😆

We look forward to welcoming each of you into our beautiful new home. 🤍

Just a little update - Over the weekend we purchased, moved and cleaned equipment. We are almost finished moving into the new space! It's starting to look like a restaurant in there! 👏

There's been lots of enthusiastic waving and honking from people driving by. We see you and we hear you! 😊 We look forward to catching up over a cup of coffee.🤍

While we wait for the landlord to get some work done inside, we got to work outside! It's been 20 years since the gazebo and court yard received any love and it showed! Hours of clean up proved to be worth it because look at that beautiful brick! 🤩 There is much to do out there before we can welcome guests to dine but the potential for it is exciting! 🌿

It's been almost a full year since we closed the doors of Sherry's Downtown Diner. Can you even believe it?! Since that heartbreaking day we have missed our morning chats, watching your children grow, and providing a welcoming space for our beloved city to come together.

In what we're now referring to as our "off season" this community encouraged us not to give up. You insisted that the right space would become available. With all of that support how could we not continue to search for our next home?!

While we might never have "Sherry's" in its original form, the rumors are true! We are so excited to finally share that we will soon be opening "Brittney's" doors! Dont you fret, Sherry will still be in the kitchen! (Thanks mom!😉) Things will look a little bit different BUT we promise to provide you with the same quality food and the excellent service that you came to expect from the same friendly faces. ☺️

We will be located at 75 East Bridge St, the historical building known to all of Oswego as the "1850 House". Bringing this location back to life is something we are truly proud of, please join us in making it an Oswego staple once again.
