Hey, remember us?
If youâve wondered why MouseWatcher has been unusually quiet on social media for a while, well⌠the carousel pretty much explains it.
And if 14 slides feels like a commitment, thereâs a TL;DR slide at the end.
What may be less obvious is that MouseWatcher really is just the two of us. Thereâs no marketing department, social media team, customer service department, or mysterious group of Disney-loving employees behind the curtain. Jeremy and I wear all of those hats.
Over the last year and a half, life outside of MouseWatcher got a lot heavier than we expected. Building our first house turned into ongoing construction problems and a legal process. I injured my wrist, spent months going back and forth with doctors trying to figure out what was wrong, eventually had surgery, and now need another one. Somewhere in there, normal life kept happening too.
When something had to give, social media was one of the things that we agreed could give. Since Iâm the one who makes the content and Iâve been limited to only one fully functional hand, it made sense. We put our energy into keeping MouseWatcher running, keeping the searches fast and the notifications flowing, and helping customersâeven if we havenât always answered every email or message as quickly as we would like.
Weâre not sharing all of this to make excuses or ask for sympathy. We just thought you deserved a little context.
Honestly, weâre tired, stressed, and burned out. Other than my next surgery, we donât know how long it may take to resolve everything else. But weâre still here, helping other Disney-loving foodies find openings for the reservations they want.
Thanks for sticking with us and giving us a little grace.
