New to the bakery cases: the Banana Nut Scone. The brainchild of one of our bakers, Deckard, who had this to say about the newest scone in our line-up:

Once I knew we were bringing back Banana Bread Syrup I started working. The really tasty banana puree that is a byproduct of making the syrup is delicious and I knew it could be used for something. This scone is the third version of the recipe–everything was delicious pretty much from the drop so we just needed to tweak it to find the right balance between a scone and banana bread.

I think it’s worth trying if you’re a banana lover. The spices and sweetness are the perfect flavors for the change in seasons!

🎃 Pumpkin Spice Latte– it’s a classic for a reason.
🍌 Banana Bread Matcha– you loved it last year, begged us to bring it back this year– we’re delighted to oblige. The house-made gluten free/vegan syrup works with coffee as well!
🍯 Honey Nut Café au Lait– last on our menu in 2022. It was a favorite then, soon-to-be favorite now!

We know WE love the Rose Cardamom Latte whose taste was inspired by a beverage sampled in Chicago, but when Rob, our Special Projects Manager (who can choose any of our beverages while working) requests it on repeat, we wanted to know what HE likes about it. Here’s what he had to say:

“This drink reminds me of a Middle Eastern or Persian dessert. The hint of peppery cardamom balances perfectly with the floral rose water and honey to create such a unique flavor. When made with pistachio milk, it truly brings the taste of Morocco to Omaha!”
