Sometimes God positions us for a purpose at a moment’s notice. He may interrupt our plans, pull us outside our comfort zone, and ask us to stand in the gap for someone else.
Recently, I watched my niece step into a role she never expected, and I couldn’t be prouder of her. Even with responsibilities and children of her own, she was willing to show up and become a source of support, guidance, protection, and safety when it mattered most.
Being used by God doesn’t always happen from a pulpit. Sometimes it looks like changing your plans, making a sacrifice, and becoming the steady person someone else needs during an uncertain moment.
“Who knows if perhaps you were made queen for just such a time as this?”
— Esther 4:14 NLT
Never underestimate the position God has placed you in. You may be the mentor, advocate, protector, or safe place He uses to help someone through a moment they cannot face alone. We may not always feel ready for the assignment, but our willingness to say “yes” can make a life-changing difference.
Lord, help us remain willing, available, and obedient whenever You call us to stand in the gap. 🙏🏾❤️
