I grow vegetables in my home garden, without the use of any pesticides or other harmful chemicals so that everything I harvest is safe for my own hermit crabs. Many veggies are heirloom or unusual types that are unique in color or flavor, and I buy and support non-GMO whenever I can. There is always an abundant harvest with plenty to share, which is why I started this store! New food items will be

added throughout the summer as they ripen, so please check back often. Shells that are sold here are cleaned thoroughly and boiled in dechlorinated water before photographing and packaging. Every shell is checked for problems such as holes and cracks, so you know you’re only getting the best! I also occasionally sell my own used shells as my hermits grow out of them, or new shells that weren't quite cosmetically perfect, for much less then brand new shells would cost – these will be labeled as either S&D (scratch and dent for new shells that aren't perfect ) or USED for my old shells. There are also other various food items and supplies. All are from crab-safe sources!

The owner is a longtime HCA member who always has the best advice. Her foods remind me so much of my own mixes, and she is also selling by weight so you know exactly what you are receiving! I was so exited to see her opening announcement on the HCA today, I know how much our customers enjoyed our shop and products, and this is the first place I've seen offering comparable items.

The annual winter mass molt is drawing to an end here, and our crabs keep surprising us with their new colors. I about fainted when I saw this guy walking around last night, it's my first time having such a vibrant blue on a Purple Pincher. Hi all! Our clearance sale continues - we currently have one colony pack left that can feed a large crew for a long time, and several of our small shell mixes which contains 20 shells for smaller crabs (1/2 to 7/8 inch openings) similar to the mix seen below. Update on the Clearance:

Two (edit: one!) sampler packs left at $28. These contain 57 different food items in 2 inch x 3 inch bags, totaling nearly one pound.

Two colony packs left at $63.50. This contains over 4 pounds of items and mixes, and is perfect for those who keep colonies! (Pictured below.)

And there are several small shell packs left for $10.25! 20 shells per packs, with openings up to 7/8 inch for smaller crabs of any species.

If you would like to have HCG goodies waiting for your hermies or for a special someone on Christmas morning, please take note of our order times! For the snack and garden packs and the small shell mix, orders must be in by 10 pm EST Monday the 18th. For everything else, orders must be in by 10 pm Tuesday the 19th. This is what the USPS is telling businesses will guarantee delivery on or before 24th anywhere in the USA, and will still give us time to get it the post office. Any orders coming in after this we will attempt to ship the same or the following day in the hopes it gets there in time!
