It’s feeling like fall over here at Loose Wheel 😎🛞🖤

Was craving savory and decided to make these:

BBL: a brown butter, brown sugar cinnamon latte ~ we combine cinnamon, espresso, and our homemade brown butter syrup (!!!!) with milk to make this dreamy, cozy latte. Workshopped this one time back in July, sold it to a couple of ya and knew it was a keeper. Oh, and if you order it iced you’ll get a brown butter cold foam on top 😱

Open Sesame: real maple and tahini. It sounds nutty because it IS nutty. This savory & sweet combo is one I was eager to try, and it was so good I had to add it to the menu. Insanely delicious hot and iced.

This is the early edition of our fall menu ~ which means I’ve got more coming your way real soon (I can’t help myself!!!!)

Happy Birthday to the grand matriarch, Grandma Lu!

Of her 22+ grandkids, I was her favorite. The thing is, I believe that each of my cousins would say the same thing.

She had this way of making you feel important and heard, even as a little kid. Her wit and ability to be endlessly silly are some of the things I miss about her the most.

She taught me to be an artist, a musician, a comedian, a gardener, a cook, a teacher, a thinker, and so many other things. I am so lucky.

I think about her all the time!!!! Loose Wheel is my love letter to her, to my family, to Ogden. Thank you all for letting me share it with you. 🖤

Now let’s all drink some Lemon Bar Latte’s and Diet Coke today and do something fun in her honor!!!!!

Help us celebrate my grandma Lu’s birthday tomorrow with the Lemon Bar Latte!!!!!!

We named Loose Wheel after her, so it feels quite necessary to celebrate accordingly!!!

Lemon bars were one of her favorite treats, so I did my best to recreate it as a drink:

- espresso!
- milk!
- brown butter syrup!
- lemon bar cold foam (!!!)
- garnished with a candied lemon slice 🍋

Available starting tomorrow and through the weekend while supplies last 🥰

We will also be offering FREE DRINKS TO ANYONE NAMED LUCILLE because why the heck not 🤪🛞🖤

My humble attempt working with ube 🙇🏻‍♀️

Meet the Purple Hat Latte, available ONLY this Saturday, inspired by SOFI TUKKER !!!!!!!! We’ll be bumping their music all day and decided to make this drink to celebrate getting to see them live for the FIRST TIME that night!!!!!

Ube is a purple yam from the Philippines with an earthy and subtly sweet flavor that has vanilla undertones.

This latte is creamy, sweetened with a little bit of extra vanilla, and is SO FUN to look at and to drink.

I hope you like it, we will see you on Saturday!! If it’s popular enough maybe we’ll add it to the menu 🤷🏻‍♀️
