Happy Friday, friends! 🙌🏼🍂

Is it just me, or is September absolutely FLYYYYING by?! I swear we just blinked and somehow we’re already heading into another weekend. Meanwhile, Mother Nature seems to be planning a little rain for us. 🌧️ And honestly? I’m not mad about it. I’m ready for that crisp, cool fall air.

If the rain decides to show up around Bread Stand time, I’ll offer roadside pickup or FREE delivery within Oakwood Hills so you can still get your Saturday treats without having to brave the elements. 😉

🤍🌾 The Saltbox Community Loaf Program Is More Than Bread

When I started the Saltbox Community Loaf Program, my hope was simple: to help neighbors going through difficult seasons have access to fresh, nourishing bread.

But this little program has grown into something so much more. It’s about sharing good food, offering comfort and dignity, and reminding our neighbors that they are seen, valued, and cared for.

I’m incredibly grateful to every customer who has contributed through a Community Loaf purchase, donation, or simply by spreading the word. You help make this mission possible, and I truly couldn’t do it without you. ❤️

Giving back is part of who I am and the kind of business I want to build. I feel so fortunate to put down roots in this community and to support the people and organizations that help make it special.

Happy Monday, friends!!! 🍂🍎 And happy last day of August! The ‘ber months are officially here and if you know me, this is my favorite time of the year! 🙌🏼

We’ve grown quite a bit over the last few months so I wanted to use this as an opportunity to share what makes this a must try spot. Saltbox Bakery is a small-batch, sourdough-focused bakery where the menu changes monthly with the seasons and the flavors are anything but ordinary. There will be some familiar favorites, but I’m more interested in introducing you to the unexpected combinations, and hopefully you’ll find a few things that make you say, “Ooh… I’ve never had that before.” That’s exactly why this bakery is a coveted gem. I want every month’s menu to feel like an invitation to a little culinary adventure, one small-batch bake at a time. 🤎👩🏻‍🍳

And before you come at me, there’s something I should probably confess… 🙊 I’m holding off on pumpkin until October because there are just too many gorgeous late-summer/early-fall flavors that deserve their moment first. Pumpkin can wait its turn. 🙊😉
