Tootsie's Tacos & Cheese Tootsie's was created in July '24, as a spinoff of our family business, Poppy's Kettlekorn. We hope you like the additional options available.

We wanted something affordable for families and decided grilled cheese and walking tacos are enjoyed by all.

Monday moment.

Had a couple come to our stand on Saturday at the Cicero Summer Fest. Their dog is named Tootsie. They even brought her back up so I could meet her. I regret we didn’t get a pic together to post on here.

Fun fact - Tootsie was my dad’s nickname for me for as long as I can remember.

He and I had been talking about selling kid/family friendly foods for a couple years and grilled cheese/walking tacos seemed to be a favorite so that’s what we went with. We started Tootsie’s in July 2023. He had passed in March that same year.

Going with the name Tootsie’s was a way to honor him. Thank you dad.

Gearing up for a couple of busy days this weekend as long as the weather holds out.

Saturday we will be at Federal Hill Commons for another free concert featuring Southern Accents - a Tom Petty tribute band.

Sunday you’ll find us in Carmel at Carter Green for Carmel Pride. Lots of food, entertainment and shopping.

Tootsie’s is off this weekend spending time with family. We hope you all have a great weekend.
