We are taking applications for part time grill cook. Experience required. Wanting especially to work Friday and Saturday evenings and one or two other shifts during week. Stop in at Cloverleaf in Newport, 2146 Hastings Ave for application. We are a family owned business. Kitchen hours are Monday - Thursday 11am to 9 pm, Friday 11-11pm, Saturday 8am-11pm, Sunday 8am-9pm. Shifts can be 5 hours to 8 hours. Pay based on experience.

Welcome. It’s nice to see so many new people that find this page. So now, please someone tell me when Spring is coming??? Certainly sick of this weather!! And I just read that May is going to be
“Cooler” than normal. Is that fair??? So that’s my complaint. Anyone else have something to say?

We need to update Easter Sunday at the Cloverleaf. We are still having breakfast from 8-1. But because of staffing, we will only have pizzas and appetizers the rest of day. Bar open 8-midnight. Sorry, have a Happy Easter.

Hope everyone is enjoying our “nice Spring weather” 🤬🤬🤬 At least the sun is out and they are “promising” nicer weather next week. Just wanted to post that we will be open our normal hours on Easter. That includes Bob doing our regular breakfast menu from 8-1. Bar hours 8- midnight. Regular menu starts at 1pm. Our great staff will be happy to see you. And have a great Easter!

Thank you, all our loyal friends and new ones. St Patrick’s Day was a good, fun day. Almost makes you feel the world is “ normal “ again. We hope to see you often. We are also working to start up our meat raffles again hopefully on Thursdays. Also going to try to continue to inform you on this site, of events and changes. You can always leave messages here, suggestions, complaints, even compliments.

After being suddenly closed 2 years ago at 5pm on StPatricks Day, this will be our first celebration since then. The Cloverleaf will be serving our great corned beef dinner, reubans, and green beer all day tomorrow, StPatricks day. This will start at 11am and run until 9pm or gone. Our regular menu will also be available. We also have new Cloverleaf shirts. Weather is suppose to be pretty nice, in the 40’s and no rain. So come out and celebrate !!! Our “crew” is ready and anxious to see you. 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍺

Just want to thank everyone that came out Saturday for our “Celebration “ in memory of our friend and long time cook, Lynn Durant. She would’ve loved the party, and I think she was there with us. Thanks to everyone that donated salads, pop, juice boxes, chips, water bottles, and anything else I may have forgotten. And all her friends and family. All the people that she cared so much about. Thank you!!

Don’t forget this Saturday, June 19th, the Cloverleaf is having a”Celebration of Life” in Lynn Durant’s memory. Lynn was a long time cook here and a good friend to so many. The celebration starts at 2:00pm. The weather sounds good and we will have lots of outside seating also. We hope to see many of you. We will be using some of our back parking lot but you can also park in the lot across from the bank ( just not in Subways area).

As of right now, our new unit is scheduled for installation on this Friday! So if all goes well, Friday afternoon should feel really good in the bar. There is also a great advantage with this new unit, besides the cooling part, it acts as an air exchange. And please consider our Contracter, Bruce Liberty, when you have a heating or cooling problem. He’s from Cottage Grove. So, hopefully our next posting here will be to remind you about our “Celebration of Life” for our long time employee and friend, Lynn Durant. That is Saturday June 19, starting at 2:00. And we will be back to having breakfast Saturday and Sunday this weekend, June 12-13. Thank you for your support during this hassle. Hopefully the last one for awhile!!

Well, some good news. We have purchased a new HVAC unit and have a contractor ( Bruce Liberty) from Cottage Grove to install. As soon as he can get his guy free that has the crane, the new unit will be installed!!! Before the end of the week, we are all hoping. We will try to update you as we know. And more about this unit. Hang in there. We got through the virus,we can do this. Only couple more days.🤞🤞🤞 Sorry everyone, especially our employees. Guess we aren’t the only place in town having trouble, and repair would’ve been quicker and cheaper, but that wasn’t the answer this time.
