Hard to believe this picture was taken 3 years ago today. So much has changed since that day, it feel’s like another lifetime. Ownership changed, chefs changed, menus changed, bartenders changed, seating changed, cowboys are gone, even the red ceiling & floor are gone (you’re welcome). I won't sugarcoat it, the truth is it’s been a really hard. Growing up 20 mins from the City of Newburgh I knew it wasn’t going to be easy, but I never could’ve imagined just how much of a challenge it’s proving to be. Newburgh has it’s own set of challenges, and the world we live in today… well, sometimes I wonder why I’m doing this & should I keep going. But then I pick up a bar shift, and you pull up a stool, we talk, we laugh, we catch up and I’m reminded exactly why I do this, why any of us crazy people do this, because the reward is greater than the pain. Throughout these 3 years 2 things have remained constant, our amazing customers who have supported us & kept us going, and our delicious french fries that you all love so much. So today we celebrate both. Selekta Tali One will be spinning records at the end of the bar, Amber & I will slinging drinks behind the bar, and we’d love to see you at the bar.
