I adapted this recipe from a Chef Thomas Keller recipe ages ago and it is a First Day of School Breakfast Tradition in our home.

Entering my Ina Garten Era.
Seriously.

Listen or read her interview with the The New York Times from a week ago and tell me that it isn't an inspiration. Especially if you're a woman. Especially if you're a middle-aged woman. And especially if you're a middle-aged woman entrepreneur.

Let me explain/positive-rant about why Butter + Sugar is ONLY a cookie company, why we are not and will never be a vegan gf cookie company.
1) Our name. (Duh.) We're all about the butter and the sugar.
2) Those ingredients are magic. They're what work together to make our taste how they taste, look how they look, and have the texture that they have... and help them pass as "real" cookies to gluten-eating people.
3) There are other products out there for vegan GF folks. That's just not our jam.
4) There IS a need for fresh, premium GF -- and only GF-- cookies. Period.

What are you doing to pass the time while you wait for Butter + Sugar cookies to be available again online & in stores?

Here are a few ideas I've tried... from walking the dog for the billionth time to trying my hand at gardening. It's all fine, but it's meh compared to being able to share our cookies with you.

BUT, we are getting SO close to setting the first big production run date 🤞🤞🤞 and from there, it's just a matter of days before you will be able to get your hands on Butter + Sugar's Mega, Granola Crunch, and Unicorn Cookies. We promise!!!

In the meantime, hang in there and knit a scarf!!
