A simple “thank you” costs nothing—but it can mean everything.
I’ve had the opportunity to help people get in rooms they wanted to enter, connect them to gigs, and encourage them to pursue opportunities they told me they truly wanted. Seeing people win is always a blessing—but it’s also a reminder that gratitude matters.
You don’t have to make a big announcement. A quick call, text, or message that says, “I got it—thank you for believing in me and helping put me in position,” goes a long way.
Acknowledging the people who opened a door, shared a connection, gave advice, or spoke your name in a room you weren’t in doesn’t take away from your success. It shows character.
I’ll always celebrate people’s wins—but I also believe appreciation should be part of the journey.
