Exciting day here at the B&B’s! 🐣

We had the coolest surprise—one of our hens hatched a whole clutch of chicks! About a dozen tiny fluffballs made their big debut today, and we couldn’t be more excited. Watching them stick close to their mama and explore the world for the first time was such a special moment. 💛🐥

Farm life always has a way of reminding us how beautiful and simple beginnings can be. Stay tuned for more baby chick cuteness!☀️

We did a thing… again! ☀️

We originally ordered 15 chicks… but somehow walked out of the store with 27. Classic us, right? 🤪

Add in the 11 chicks we hatched ourselves and we’ve got peepers everywhere. And just when we thought we might slow down, one of our hens decided to go broody—she’s sitting on 7 eggs now. 🐣

Our earlier silkie crew has officially graduated to hanging with the big dogs, and we’re here for it. Bring on the summer filled with chickens, chicks, and all the farmyard fun! 🥳

🐣 Exciting Times at B&B’s Farm Fresh! 🐣

As many of you know, there’s been a wild surge in demand for chicks, chickens, and eggs lately. With prices soaring in stores, more people are jumping into raising their own flocks—which is awesome! But it’s also made it tougher than ever for us to grow our own crew this year.

We’ve been collecting over a dozen eggs a day these past few weeks, but that number will be dropping as we send home some chickens we hosted over the winter for friends. So, if you notice a slight dip in availability, bear with us!

If you or someone you know has young layers or pullets available, we’d love to hear about it. Tag us or send us a message!

Exciting Updates from B&B’s Farm Fresh Butt Nuggets 🥚

As we step into 2025, we’re thrilled to share some exciting news! Yesterday and today, we welcomed 12 silky chicks to the farm! This is a huge improvement from our last batch of four, and we owe a big thank you to Helena Rose for selling our girls eggs and guiding us through the process to achieve such a better outcome. Silky chicks can be tough to hatch, but now we know how resilient they are—and we’re feeling so proud! ✨

On the egg front, our girls have hit a little pause due to the constant weather changes. We’ve gone about 4-5 days without eggs, but we’re staying hopeful that production will pick up soon. ❄️✨

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported us in 2024 by purchasing eggs! Your support goes a long way—helping the girls buy feed, maintain the coop, and even save a little extra for themselves. They’ve been so excited to see their hard work pay off, and it’s all thanks to you! 🙌🏽
