Our motto, "Serving My Community One Plate at a Time," reflects our commitment to providing exceptional meals that bring people together. My inspiration comes from both my Grandmother's they both stayed in the kitchen. I could remember hearing them move around, I knew it was time to turn the stove on. I was eager to go in and help, I just wanted to be apart of the magic. When I am creating and preparing my meals it's all from a place of love and passion. I want to be able to feed someone not knowing if it is their first meal, only meal or last meal. I want to impact others through my food I want to feed my Community one plate at a time. I have been in Food Service for over 20 years, I have served 14 Honorable years in the United States Army as A Food Service Supervisor. I have attended two Culinary schools and Graduated with honors from them both. Helm's College of Augusta Ga and Augustine Escoffier Culinary Arts Institute of Boulder Colorado. I have been serving my Community one plate at a time with my growning Catering Company Tish's Homestyle Cooking LLC. I am a Certified Chef and as well I am a Pastry Chef, my concept is Homestyle Cooking, comfort foods, Farm To Table. Creating Fresh and Quality Good Food.

🚨❤️💜 UPDATED CORE MENU ALERT! 👩🏽‍🍳🔥

Hey y’all! Chef Tish here!

I’ve officially updated my Everyday Core Menu to focus on the items y’all have been loving and ordering the most! ❤️

But listen… just because you don’t see something on the menu doesn’t mean Chef Tish stopped cooking it! 😂 Many of your homestyle favorites are still available through my MEAL PREP OPTIONS! 🍽️

And don’t worry, y’all know I love switching things up! I’ll still be introducing WEEKLY SPECIALS and bringing back some of your favorites! 🔥

🚨 CHANGES ARE COMING TO TISH’S HOMESTYLE COOKING! 👩🏽‍🍳❤️💜

Hey y’all! Chef Tish here! ❤️

After some hard thinking, I’ve decided to make a few changes to my Everyday Core Menu!

Some items will be coming off based on what’s selling and what’s moving a little slower. But don’t worry, some of those favorites will still be available through meal prep!

🍰 Honey Bun Cake – Whole cakes now available by preorder!

🍑 Cobblers – Rotating flavors! Peach, Blueberry, Cherry & more!

🔥 Flamin’ Hot Philly Cheesesteak Balls – Coming back on a WEEKLY rotation!

These decisions weren’t easy, but I’m learning to think like a business owner and not just a chef! 😂 I’m working on reducing wait times, controlling food costs, and cutting down on waste.

And y’all know me… I’m ALWAYS cooking up something new! 👩🏽‍🍳🔥

Thank y’all for growing with me and continuing to support my dream! ❤️💜

A HUGE THANK YOU to Plumber Near Me! 🙌🏾❤️

Yesterday we had a little emergency at the food trailer—the pipes underneath my sinks came apart, and when you’re running a food business, you already know… NO SINKS = WE HAVE A PROBLEM! 😩😂

We reached out trying to get some help, and then I said, “Where are my ?” Well, baby… THEY ACTUALLY SHOWED UP! 😂🙌🏾

They came to my rescue, got underneath those sinks, found the problem, and took care of it for me. I am SO grateful! As a small business owner, having another business actually answer the call when you need them means more than people realize.

Thank y’all for showing up for Tish’s Homestyle Cooking and getting me back right! ❤️🙏🏾

When I asked, “Where are my ?”
They said, “RIGHT HERE!” 😂👏🏾

Y’all… look what happened today! 🥹❤️

I came to the trailer today and my new friends from London, Beth & Liam, had dropped off a little “pardon gift” for me! 🇬🇧🫖❤️ Yorkshire Tea and everything!

They were only here in Gruene for one night, stopped by Tish’s Homestyle Cooking, tried my food, and somehow in that short amount of time we made a connection. And then for them to take the time to leave me something before they left… 🥹

How sweet and thoughtful is this?!

This is what I mean when I say this journey is about so much more than food. I get to meet people from all over, share a little piece of me through my cooking, and sometimes strangers walk up to my trailer and leave feeling like friends. ❤️

Beth & Liam, thank you so much! You truly made my day. Safe travels back to London, and just know you’ll always have a friend in Texas! 🇬🇧🤠❤️
