Last night was a blast! We won Most Creative for the 3rd year in a row, because you know your girls Love a theme!

We were able to debut our Event Carts serving up BYO CHARCUTERIE & BYO dessert with banana pudding and Cheesecake Shooters! Everyone loved it and we may even have a few bookings in the pipelines!

Got to see all our restaurant friends at Noon Mirch, Chopping Block, Yardhouse, Galveston Bay, Bay Oaks, Robinette & Space City Cow. And made some new friends with Schafers and Rosewater! Great Night and a great way to end our reign on a high! Next year someone else will get the chance to take home the title of most creative!

Great night! And major congrats to Me and Sarah! Although Sarah carried us this year by building the cart, planning the menu and picking up the decor 🤣🤣😅

It's been a whirlwind since announcing closing of our retail location a week ago, today. Business was still crazy slow, so that was a confirmation that we made the right decision. We had several customers come in that were visiting for the first time and telling us how excited they were to find us. Which we had to then turn around and let them know we are closing at the end of the month. We had customers cry when they heard the news. We had customers literally start calling people trying to figure out what they could do to stop the closure from happening.

And I will say the biggest surprise was when 2 different business owners stopped by interested in taking over our lease Oct 1st. Our biggest fear was finding someone willing to take over our lease by January and how hard we would have to work to find people willing. And then 2 people showed up on their own just from that 1 post. Plus both were willing to allow us to keep a small presence in the space for our website and catering pickup plus our big thanksgiving and christmas holiday pickups.

We are still unsure what Scrumptious exactly looks like on the other side but we definitely got confirmation that it won't involve retail, that we will be loved and missed and that we made an impact in the time we did spend here. The plan for now is to continue offering catering and dessert tables and everything on the website for pickup at our location or our homes(Seabrook or league city-518 &45) with 2 day notice. We will still also be at Baybrook Farmers Markets on Sunday and involved in pop up markets/festivals. & Definitely still offering Thanksgiving & Christmas Cheesecakes & Cakes for pickup and local delivery.

Please don't wait until the last week to come visit us, because yall know us and our love of a dollar bill. If the money is right we will pack our things expeditiously lol.

So please come see us asap and get your favorite items. Its just Me, Sarah and Mama Scrumptious left running 5 days of retail hours, so be patient if you accidentally walk in with all the other humans. And know we love you guys and grateful for the last 6 years you have allowed us to be apart of your lives!

October 3rd will be our last day of retail sales. We honestly need to close right now but we wanted to give you guys a last chance to come by and get treats and to redeem your points etc.

This will be our last official retail menu. Stop in during business hours and pick up a treat and a bagel before 2pm.

Scrumptious will continue but the regular retail hours are done. Until we find someone to take over the lease we will have pop up preorder menus at the storefront and then the location will switch to our home address.

Preorder website orders will continue, wholesale will continue, sunday bagel market at bay brook will continue. We are still figuring out the longevity of the pink fridges but hopefully by end of September we will have an answer for those as well.

If You see something you like on the menu. Please stop by and get it before the individual options are gone. If there is something you would love to have 1 last time, please comment below and we may be able to make it happen!!

Banana pudding was one of our very first cheesecakes we made 10 years ago when we were still home based! I was utterly obsessed with getting it perfect and everyone loved it. And then we opened a storefront and it became one of our most polarizing flavors. Everyone either loved it or hated the cooked bananas. Or when the bananas decide they wanted to sink and hang out on the crust. I'm emotionally fragile so I took it off the menu for the last 2 years. But she is back and has gotten sooo many rave reviews and has been selling out all month. So even if only half of you love her, she is here to stay. Banana pudding will be added into the rotation and will show up every 4-6 weeks for your eating pleasure!
