It seems like Facebook has added some sort of A.I. automated greeting to our page that instantly sends a message to new followers. After digging around in all of the possible settings and searching through various threads about this happening to other business pages, it appears that there’s currently no way to turn this feature off. So, if you receive this message from my page, I promise it’s not me. I actually think it’s kind of a weird thing to do because, to me, it makes the business look like it’s desperately seeking interactions. If anyone has run into this and successfully turned it off, please let me know! And yes, all of our automations in business suite are turned off.
