But this year, we gave our PSL a little Perking Spot upgrade.

Our pumpkin spice sauce is made in house with REAL pumpkin purée, sweetened condensed milk, and all those warm fall spices that make you almost forget it’s probably still 80° outside. 😂

Pair it with espresso + your choice of milk and have it hot, iced, or blended.

Part 2…

Which brings us back to my original rambling, sappy point of this post. 😂

Yesterday I had the privilege of “working” on the trailer.

I say it that way because I’m watching my baby function without me.

I’m stepping back and seeing Amy train a new hire better than I could. I’m watching Camden pop in for a Lotus before going to class and seeing customers overjoyed to see him and wish him well. I’m watching automated orders from our amazing team of local vendors show up on time without errors.

& I’m watching as all of you still manage to carve out a little window in your busy lives to stop by, check in on us, and support our little business.

To be honest—it gave me this overwhelming sense of pride and maybe even a little relief knowing:

What we’ve built here is good.

In the past two weeks, I’ve been able to come out from behind the espresso machine to greet you and rock your babies. I’ve stepped out of the trailer to deliver coffees, jumped into passenger seats and hug you. I’ve been able to take the extra few minutes to have conversations that extend past a business transaction and genuinely catch up.

I’ve snuggled your pups and high-fived your kids.

And at the end of the day yesterday, my very last customer was a mama who moved states over two years ago but happened to be in town visiting family—and pulled out her original Perking Spot stamp card because no trip back to Idaho would be complete without stopping to see us.

To say my cup is overflowing would be the understatement of the year.

To each and every one of you—I am so grateful for your business.

But more than that, I am grateful for your time, your support, and your love.

Thank you for welcoming us into your community. For standing behind us and fighting to keep us here when things got bleak. For following us around, showing up, and believing in what we were trying to build. And for celebrating alongside us as we continue to grow.

Our success is your success, because somewhere along the way, you stopped being customers and became our family.

And I am so damn excited to keep doing this journey together.

Good morning Perking Spot family!

It’s Rae-Ann here popping in to say hello with a heart full of gratitude as I’m heading out to micron this morning.

Being back on the Trailer and getting to catch up with all your smiling faces has filled my heart with so much joy.

And I while I wanted to share a few moments from the last two weeks that really hit home and reminded me why we started this business and perhaps more importantly, to acknowledge that the reason we’re still going strong is because of you all.

But before I do that… I want to start by acknowledging the entire crew we have.

Some may be new names and some faces you might feel like it’s been forever since you seen them, but just know all are equally important in each of their rolls.

From Isabelle and Kaia who are finding their groove serving up amazing drinks and smiles on the new truck and picking up community events.

To my incredible business partner and Bestie for the Restie, Sonia, showing up day after day, week after week, (and now) year after year to represent us in the negotiating and landing of our Micron contract while showing up at 2:30 in the morning smiling and ready to start the day. Everyday. Before meeting up with dynamic force that is Morgan with her attention to detail and memory that rivals (& often surpasses) my own. Where the two of them slave away slinging up more drinks in a single shift at Micron than I could even dream up of doing.

To our floater Jaydie whose heart is always in the right place, coming in clutch to bail us out in a moments notice covering shifts and running supplies.

To our newest addition Kaylee whose dynamic smile has been greeting everyone with genuine enthusiasm and a desire to get to know you all before mastering your drinks.

& of course lastly our dynamic duo Camden & Amy who’ve literally been holding the place down with more patience and grace than I probably deserve— keeping the connections and rapport alive and truly representing everything we built The Perking Spot to be. Without them I would be lost.

WE SURVIVED WEEK ONE. ☕️🙌

The lunches were packed.
The alarms were set.
Everyone (mostly) made it where they were supposed to be. 😂
And somehow… we even survived the first weekend.

Now it’s time to settle back into the routine.

And fortunately, your Monday routine comes with DOUBLE STAMPS. 🤎

Because getting back into a routine deserves a reward.
