14,951 coffees. Thatโ€™s how many coffees Iโ€™ve made since July 19th of last year.

If you had told me a year ago how different my life would be today, Iโ€™d like to say Iโ€™d probably laugh, but truthfully, I have no idea what I would have done. I had no idea how much this little blue truck would change my life.

Opening day was exhausting, overwhelming, and one of the best days of my life. Then came farmers markets, festivals, weddings, birthday parties, baby showers, tailgates, community events. In between the events were all the stressful nights, the errands, the broken equipment, and the problems that needed solutions. I became a plumber, an electrician, a bookkeeper, a marketer, a mechanic, and learned a hundred other jobs I never thought I would take the role of. Thereโ€™s been slow days that made me question everything and busy days where the line never seemed to end.

14,951 coffees later, I realize those numbers represent so much more than coffee. They represent thousands of little moments, conversations, and connections with people I never would have met otherwise. Within those 14,951 coffees I got to live with one of my best friends. I met my husband, and we got married. Weโ€™re closing on our first house (lets freaking gooooo). Iโ€™ve watched complete strangers become regulars and those same regulars become friends. Kei Coffee Co. has been woven into every major chapter of my life this past year.

You guys often thank me for the coffee, but I should be thanking all of you. Every person who has shared a post, stood in line, waited patiently on busy mornings or in crazy weather, brought a friend, recommended us for an event, trusted us with your wedding, or simply stopped by to say โ€œhi, I love your truck!โ€ you helped build this little dream, you gave this business life.

To everyone who has been part of year one, thank you. Thank you for making this first year more than I ever dreamed it could be. And thank you Jesus for the best community.
