🎲✨ The Space Still Exists — We're Just Trusting God with the Timing ✨🎲

To our wonderful community—thank you for the love, the messages, the prayers, and the check-ins. We opened The Space with hearts full of excitement, eager to create a place where folks could gather, laugh, and connect over coffee, conversation, and board games.

And while we had to close our doors shortly after opening, it wasn’t because we gave up—it’s because life asked us to slow down.

Right now, our family is walking through a difficult season as we stand beside Tobin in his fight against stage 4 cancer. It’s a journey filled with faith, hard days, and small victories—and we are trusting that God is still in control, even when we don’t see the full picture yet.

We believe that The Space was born out of purpose, and we still believe in that purpose. Our hope is that in God’s perfect timing, we’ll reopen and welcome you back—stronger, wiser, and ready to pour coffee and love in equal measure.

Thank you for your patience, your support, and most of all, your prayers. We’re still here. And we’re still believing.

Ok friends ..if anyone is available and can help, I'll be at The Space 843 tomorrow (Friday) at 10am loading up the U-Haul and then bringing everything to storage. I'll have water and soda and snacks. Thank you in advance!

Dear Friends,,

It is with a heavy heart that I’m writing to let you all know that, due to some family circumstances that need my full attention, I will have to temporarily close the doors to our beloved board game cafe. This is not a decision I take lightly, and I know it will be as disappointing to you as it is to me. I feel like we hardly got our feet wet, but God says the timing isn’t right, and I have to listen to Him.

Running this cafe has been such an incredible, yet VERY SHORT journey, and it's all been possible because of the wonderful community that has supported us. Every game night (and afternoon), every friendly competition, every shared laugh – it’s been a joy to be part of it all. I’ve loved seeing familiar faces return, and welcoming new ones into our space, and I’m so grateful for each and every one of you.

While I had hoped to keep things going, it seems that God didn’t think the timing was quite right, and family needs to come first right now. Though the closure is necessary at this moment, I want to stress that this is only temporary. My hope is to return and reopen as soon as I’m able to, once things stabilize on the family front. Please keep in touch – I will keep you all updated on any changes, and I can’t wait to see you again when the time is right.

Thank you for your understanding, your kindness, and your continued support. You all mean the world to me, and I look forward to the day we can all roll the dice together again.

Morning all. We will open to the public at 5pm today.

So today, Bubbles & Board Games! Will run concurrently with Teen Game Night Mixer @ The Space 843, Board Game Cafe! ! And as usual, when we have an "event" such as the ones listed, door is still open to the public and anyone can come play.

We do have an event from 2-5 which have us closed until then.

Im sorry for all the confusion. As much as I like to think I'm perfect, I'm not, so please show me a little grace in this tiny hiccup. 💕
