I have been putting off making this post. I am back to caking, but I have made a lot of changes. I am going to focus on weddings and large parties. With the price of everything so high now, especially electricity, I just can’t afford to do small cakes anymore. After I calculate in all of my expenses and my time, I’m pretty much working for free. I cannot justify raising my prices and charging a crazy amount for a simple birthday cake. Plus they just take so much time. I also will no longer offer sheet cakes. I can no longer do licensed or trademarked characters or figures. I can do the color scheme, and then you can get a figure, pick, etc., to add on.

I will be doing pop-up flash sales of cupcakes, cake jars, etc., for those of you that are addicted to my cakes and just need to eat some! 😂 I will try to do these at least once a month.

I cannot say Thank You enough to all of you for supporting me over the last 35+ years of doing cakes. It means the world to me when I receive messages after events saying how wonderful everything was! 🥰

Please if you know couples getting married, give them my name! Also, I do not discriminate! Love is love!!

Most of you know by now that I haven’t been able to work in a little over 2 months now. I desperately need both hips replaced & can’t even stand on my own now. I’m having my first hip replacement Tuesday, the 20th. If everything goes well, I’ll have the other hip done 6 weeks after. My plan is to be back to work in April for a wedding cake I have on the books. Thank you all for all of your support! It’s killing me to not be able to make my cakes, and having no income sucks! But I’ll be the bionic baker when I’m back 🧁🧁👩🏻‍🍳
