Last month, you all showed up BIG for Su***de Awareness Month and helped us raise JUST OVER $650!

Now we’re asking…

CAN WE DO IT AGAIN FOR A LOCAL WOMAN FIGHTING BREAST CANCER? 💗

She’s currently going through treatment and hasn’t been able to work much. We know we can’t make this fight disappear, but we CAN come together and help make things a little easier.

So this month, 50% of every breast cancer awareness cookie sale will go directly to her to help with whatever she and her family need.

The other 50% stays with Home Sweet Bakery to cover the ingredients and supplies needed to make the fundraiser happen.

We were looking at the cameras yesterday and realized just how many people stopped by the stand, and honestly… I’m so sorry, guys. ❤️

We had a contagious sickness run through our littlest one, and as much as we hated making the decision, we did NOT want to risk anyone else possibly getting sick.

So, we made the decision to close the stand for the entire weekend, cancel our market today, and postpone all of the orders that were supposed to go out last week.

And trust me… we were SO excited for today’s market. I had made our own Halloween decorations for the tent, bought almost 900 pieces of candy, and the kids were beyond excited to wear their costumes. We had been looking forward to it for weeks.

But sometimes mom life wins, and keeping everyone healthy has to come first. ❤️

We are so thankful for everyone who still stopped by, messaged us, and supported us even while we were closed. Seeing how many people came by on the cameras really reminded us just how amazing you all are.

We’ll be back OPEN NEXT FRIDAY! 🎃🍪

Since sickness RUINED our plans and we had to cancel the farm stand AND our market this weekend… we figured, might as well put the forced downtime to good use. 😂

SOOOO… we finally made the family some shirts so we can pretend we have our lives together when we show up to markets. 🤣🍪

Because apparently selling baked goods while looking like we just rolled out of bed wasn’t professional enough. 😂

BUT NOW WE NEED TO KNOW… 👀

Everyone, meet my mom, Barb Jones. ❤️

She is the face behind Pam’s Pantry — and the reason we’ve been so passionate about keeping this pantry going.

Pam was my mom’s younger sister. After losing her, my mom poured so much love, time, and hard work into creating Pam’s Pantry as a way to keep her memory alive while helping others in their community who are struggling and in need.

My mom works incredibly hard to keep donations coming in, keep the pantry stocked, and make sure Pam’s legacy continues to help people. ❤️

When we started our fundraiser, we set a goal of $500 for Pam’s Pantry.

And YOU GUYS DID IT. 🥹

Between donations and the sales of our su***de awareness sugar cookies, we officially hit our $500 goal on September 17th!

After reaching that goal, we received a Venmo to go directly to directly to Pam’s Pantry.

And when it was all said and done…

WE GAVE PAM’S PANTRY $545! ❤️

We are SO incredibly grateful to every single person who purchased a cookie, donated, shared a post, or simply helped spread the word.

But we’re not done yet. ❤️

Now, all additional proceeds from our su***de awareness sugar cookies are being donated to the Ohio Su***de Prevention Foundation.

So far, we have raised $80 for the foundation.
