I don't know if you know but I’m a bit of an artist.
That being said one of my favorite methods in recent yeahs has been linoleum block print making.
These bags are made with 100% recycled cotton while all our clothing is second hand printed with my custom designs. Each item is printed by hand one at a time with wash safe oil based ink to last through the years.
Currently we only have a few designs but the creative mind is always running!

Now when I say drawing salve I don’t mean draw me a pretty picture.
I mean draw like suck the poison right out of me haha.

What gives this salve its iconic black color? I’m sure you can guess, yeah?
Thats right the answer is activated charcoal powder! Charcoal powder while there are no real scientific backings to its topical uses i have found it to be a useful aid in extractions whether from weeping rashes, annoying bug bites or persistent pimples.
Slather this baby over effected areas and try to leave on as long as possible for best results.

Now…
DiviniTEA is a little different to every other tea blend Home & Hearth has.

But Blue, how is it different? Well, this here concoction isn’t a medicinal tea blend like rest of our collection haha. This blend is more of the energetic sort. Mugwort one of the main herbs in DiviniTEA is part of the Artemisia genus, the word Artemisia comes from name Artemis - the Greek Goddess of the moon.
So its no wonder its one herb that will take you on an adventure through the dream world.

when the cold comes a knocking,
the cough gets coughing haha.

theres are so many types of coughs and reasons why they start or stick around. Home & Hearths Throat coat is a rum based tonic.
Now why rum based?
Rum is a great antiseptic that has ben known to help with sore muscles as well as having a healthy dose of antioxidants and antimicrobials. So really why wouldn’t i use rum as the base for Throat Coat?

Just a spoonful when needed to chase that cough away.

For all my child birthing folks out there… I feel for you.
that is hard on everything, mind, body, soul.

Childbirth is one of the most taxing phenomenons on the human body, from the tearing and bleeding, to the vitamin and mineral deficiencies, the pain and recovery process and thats just some of how it physically affects us.

Only hot girls have IBS…
Yeah well not quite but I’m sure we have all dealt with that cramping pain at least once.

Tummy troubles get the best of us all at times. wether thats eating something we know we shouldn’t, having IBS thats honestly pretty common or whatever reason it may be we can use the help sometimes. You know whats not fun?
Taking pills everyday… well more than you already have to haha.

Spoon full of Vitamins is exactly as the name would imply its a Oxymel vitamin supplement.
Now what’s an oxymel you ask?
Simply put for this recipe its just a mix of Apple Cider Vinegar, raw local honey and herbs high in vitamins and minerals. I find that many people find straight vinegar hard to stomach so Home & Hearth adds a heathy heaping of local honey to help balance out that sour and pungent ACV taste.
So if you are looking for a different way to make sure you are getting enough of your daily vitamins and minerals maybe give SOV a taste.

Goodnight moon was the second tea blend created by home and hearth for a dear friend of mine who has always struggled to fall asleep let alone STAY asleep. Passion flower is our star companion for this one to help us when we wake up in the middle of the night to be able to fall right back asleep. She’s a beautiful herb and the polar opposite of the fruit she produces with its bright zingy personality.
So saddle up my lovelies and let passion flower and her friends sing you a sweet lullaby goodnight.

Are you a coffee drinker?
Psh, who am I kidding of course you are!

Now don’t get me wrong. I love tea, I love all types of tea, I love my medicinal teas especially but I got to be honest. nothing beats a home brewed espresso in the morning, or you know a fresh bought Starbucks if thats your thing haha.
The Bitter Morning is just that, an herbal bitter. I’ll go into what that is another time cause what I really want to say is this is what take my coffee as gordon rams would say “to the next level. Really elevate that dish.” or in this case coffee haha. This little guy give the most lovely roasty toasty chocolaty flavor to your favorite brew.
Don’t believe me? They say you have to taste it to believe it!

Now while this magnesium lotion bar isn’t necessarily a part of our pain relief like I will say if you are one of my muscle mommies or daddies this ones for you! This is your little helper for this sore achy muscles that just come naturally with living life so honestly its a great friend to all of us.
Meant to be used after a wam shower to really help that magnesium melt into the skin and give that achy body a little TLC.
