💚🍀 Some of my favorite fair memories started long before the first class ever began.
The Knox County Fairgrounds have always felt like home. I grew up showing baking projects, sheep, and swine, spending countless hours in those barns. Back then, hearing “Allison Hand, Delong Livestock to the holding ring…” meant it was my turn. Looking back, those moments helped shape who I am today.
I also grew up reciting the 4-H Pledge and promising to use my hands to larger service. These days, those hands look a little different… with a little more butter, flour, and cinnamon. 💚
This year, Baked at Bode’s is excited to give back to an organization that gave so much to me!
